Use cases

The real power shows up when you combine a widget (to capture) with automation on the platform (to follow up). Here are four end-to-end playbooks you can copy.

Each one follows the same shape: capture with a widget → tag the lead → the platform does the rest.

1. Solar lead magnet → instant report

Goal: turn “how much could I save?” curiosity into booked consultations.

  • Widgets: a Solar savings calculator, with a social-proof toast beside it.
  • In Conversion Toolkit: turn on lead capture and Save results to CRM custom fields. Add Extra tag solar-calc.
  • In the platform: a workflow triggered by the tag calculator-lead (or solar-calc) emails the visitor their saved figures (merge CT · 25-year estimated savings into the email) and books a call.
  • Result: every lead arrives with their savings already on the contact record — your rep opens the call already knowing the number.

2. Black Friday flash sale → urgency + gamified capture

Goal: build the list and push the sale, hard, for 48 hours.

  • Widgets: a Countdown bar pinned to the top, and a Spin-to-win wheel for the discount.
  • In Conversion Toolkit: set the countdown’s deadline to the sale end; on the wheel, set prize segments and Extra tag bf-2026.
  • In the platform: a workflow on spinner-win emails the code immediately and starts a 3-touch “your code expires soon” sequence; a second workflow on bf-2026 adds everyone to the sale broadcast.
  • Result: the countdown drives urgency, the wheel converts the opt-in, and the platform handles the redemption chase.

3. Coaching lead qualifier → bucketed nurture

Goal: stop treating every lead the same — fast-track the hot ones.

  • Widget: the Lead qualifier quiz (intent / budget / timeline).
  • In Conversion Toolkit: keep the per-answer tags (intent-high, budget-high, timeline-now, …) and turn on lead capture.
  • In the platform: see Bucketing & segmentationintent-high and budget-high → instant “book a call” email + sales task; budget-low → a long educational nurture instead.
  • Result: hot leads get a human fast; everyone else gets the right-sized follow-up — automatically.

4. Service business → instant quote

Goal: give a price on the spot and capture the lead while interest is high.

  • Widgets: a pricing Calculator plus social proof for reassurance.
  • In Conversion Toolkit: lead capture on, results saved to fields, Extra tag quote-request.
  • In the platform: a workflow on quote-request sends the written quote, notifies you, and follows up in 2 days if there’s no reply.
  • Result: an instant estimate, a captured contact with the numbers attached, and a follow-up that never slips.

The pattern behind all of them

  1. Pick the widget that fits the moment (a question to answer, urgency to create, a list to build, leads to sort).
  2. Turn on lead capture and set an Extra tag you’ll recognise.
  3. Build one workflow on the platform triggered by that tag.

Repeat for each campaign. The widget captures; your tags route; the platform follows up. Start with Getting started.
