FAQ
Do I need to write any code?
No. You connect calendars and configure the widget inside the app, then place it with the page builder. There’s nothing to host or paste yourself.
Where do the events come from?
Your platform calendars — the ones you already use for scheduling in the sub-account. Add or update an event there and it’s reflected on your page automatically.
Will my booking/availability slots show up as events?
No. Calendar Events shows only actual events with titles, never raw appointment-booking availability slots from a calendar also used for bookings.
Will editing the widget break the pages it’s on?
No. Your page only references which widget to show, so changes you make in the app — calendars, display mode, theme — appear on every page that uses the widget, with no page edits or re-publishing required.
Can I use one widget on multiple pages?
Yes. Configure a widget once and select it on as many pages as you like. Update it in one place and every page reflects the change.
Do my visitors need a platform account?
No. The widget is public — anyone visiting your funnel or website can view it, add events to their own calendar, or subscribe. Only you (the logged-in platform user) need access to manage it in the app.
How often do subscriptions update?
It depends on the visitor’s calendar app — see Subscriptions for typical update frequencies.
I installed the app but only see a login screen
This usually means the app was installed at the agency level rather than into a specific sub-account. Re-install and choose the sub-account you want to use it in — see Getting started.
My widget doesn’t appear on the published page
- Confirm you selected a saved widget in the Calendar Events element’s settings.
- Re-publish the page after adding the element.
- Make sure the widget is saved in the app (not left as an unsaved draft).
