Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how JTK Apps Ltd ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use jtkapps.com and our apps — including Conversion Toolkit, Calendar Events, and any other apps we make available (the "Services").
1) Who we are
JTK Apps Ltd
Registered office: 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom
Contact: support@jtkapps.com
2) Our role: controller vs. processor
For our website and for our direct relationship with you (our customer), we act as acontroller of your personal data.
When you use our apps to capture or process information about your contacts, leads, and site visitors, you decide what is collected and why — so you are the controllerof that data and we act as a processor handling it on your behalf and on your instructions. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect it and for giving your visitors any required privacy notices and choices.
3) What we collect
A) Website and support communications
- Information you provide when contacting us (e.g., your email address and message content).
- Basic usage data when you browse our site (e.g., IP address, device/browser info, pages viewed), typically via server logs and/or analytics (if used).
B) Installation and connection data
When you install or connect an app to your Platform account, we receive data needed to operate the integration, such as:
- Account/sub-account (location) identifiers
- Authorization tokens (access/refresh tokens) and related metadata
- The scopes/permissions you granted, and basic install/uninstall events
C) App and lead data ("Customer Data")
Depending on the app and how you configure it, we process:
- Your widget and app configuration (designs, formulas, questions, settings).
- For Conversion Toolkit: information your visitors submit through a widget — typically an email address and, optionally, a name, phone number, quiz answers, or calculator inputs and results — which we write into your Platform sub-account as a contact, tags, a note, and (optionally) custom-field values.
- For Calendar Events: event information from your Platform account that the widget displays.
Storage of lead/submission data. Today our apps primarily write captured leads through to your Platform sub-account. We may also store submission and lead data ourselves — now or in the future — where needed to provide features such as analytics and reporting, deduplication, spam prevention, delivery retries, and troubleshooting. Where we do, we act as a processor on your behalf as described above.
D) Usage and analytics
We log usage and event data about how the Services and your widgets perform — for example, widget views, interactions, and submissions — so that we can provide you with analytics and reporting, operate and secure the Services, and improve them. This event data may be derived from your visitors' interactions with your widgets.
4) How we use information
- To provide and operate the Services (render widgets, capture leads, write to your CRM, display events).
- To authenticate your connection and maintain app functionality.
- To provide analytics, reporting, and insights to you.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse and spam, and troubleshoot issues.
- To provide customer support and respond to requests.
- To improve the Services (reliability, performance, features, documentation).
- To comply with legal obligations.
5) Legal bases (UK GDPR / GDPR where applicable)
- Contract: to provide the Services you request.
- Legitimate interests: to secure, maintain, and improve the Services, provide analytics, and prevent fraud and abuse.
- Consent: for optional cookies/analytics where required by law.
- Legal obligation: to comply with applicable laws.
Where we act as a processor for Customer Data, the legal basis for collecting that data from your visitors is your responsibility as the controller.
6) How we share information
- Service providers (sub-processors) that help us run the Services — for example, cloud hosting and edge infrastructure, database storage, logging/monitoring, and email/support tooling. They may process data only on our instructions.
- The Platform and third parties you choose: we transmit data to your Platform account, and to any external endpoints you configure, at your direction.
- Authorities: if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
We do not sell your personal information.
7) Data retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, including:
- For connection data: as long as your app installation is active.
- For Customer Data we store: as long as needed to provide the features above, or until you delete it or close your account.
- For logs and analytics: for a limited period to maintain security and provide reporting.
- As otherwise required by law.
You can request deletion as described below.
8) Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information — including scoping each customer's data to their own account and performing lead writes server-side under your account's own authorization. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
9) International transfers
If data is transferred outside the UK/EEA, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) where required.
10) Your rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal data
- Object to or restrict processing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent)
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

If your request concerns data we process on behalf of one of our customers (for example, you are a lead captured on someone's page), please contact that business — the controller — directly; we will assist them as needed.

We may use cookies or similar technologies for essential site functionality and (optionally) analytics. Where required, we will provide a cookie banner or controls to manage preferences.
12) Children
The Services are not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
